P.R.Gastronomy and American-caribbean fusion in Wisconsin

¡Bienvenidos a la familia! If you’ve ever walked through a street market in San Juan or felt the mountain breeze in Utuado, you know that Puerto Rican food isn’t just a meal: it’s a feeling. At Boriken Mart, we are on a mission to bring that exact feeling, that sabor auténtico, to the heart of Central Wisconsin. Whether you found us at a local festival or searched for the best puerto rican food wisconsin has to offer, we’re glad you’re here.

Our story isn’t just about a food stand; it’s about heritage, resilience, and the relentless pursuit of the perfect empanadilla. It’s about merging the tropical soul of the Isla del Encanto with the hardworking spirit of the Midwest.

From Borikén to the Badger State

The name "Boriken" (or Borikén) is the indigenous Taíno name for Puerto Rico, meaning "Land of the Valiant Lord." For us, it represents a deep connection to our roots. Our journey started back in 2017 as a humble pop-up at the Kronenwetter Farmers Market. We wanted to see if Wisconsin was ready for the bold, garlicky, and vibrant flavors of the Caribbean.

Spoiler alert: You guys loved it!

Since those early days, Boriken Mart has evolved from a small tent into a premier mobile food stand and concession powerhouse. We’ve grown, but our core mission remains the same: serving food that tastes like it came straight from Abuela’s kitchen, even if you’re eating it in the middle of a Wisconsin summer.
